2010 G37Xs Front Chin Spoiler - Does Installation Require Bumper to Be Drilled?
2010 G37Xs Front Chin Spoiler - Does Installation Require Bumper to Be Drilled?
I'm taking delivery of 2010 G37xs next week. The car was a swap from another dealer and prior dealer had already installed front chin spoiler.
I'm not sure if I want to keep the spoiler on or not, but was wondering if anyone knows if the installation of the chin spoiler require drill holes in the bumper and if so, are those drill holes on the face of the bumper or in a hidden location.
Also is this the exact same spoiler that would come from the factory if that front and rear spoiler was ordered?
Anyone have a 2010 Sedan GSxs who can post pictures.
Thanks

Why would you take the OEM lip off if it came with it originally? I think the OEM looks great!
I have OEM lip on my 08 sedan and love the look. As far as the install, I am pretty sure the way it is installed is pretty much the same. You basically have to drill few more holes into bottom of the OEM bumper and make about 2 penny sized holes at the bottom of the front bumper in order to clip the lip on. However, none of these holes will be visible once taken the lip is removed since all the holes are made at the bottom of the bumper.
IMO you should keep it! It looks so much better w/ it.
