Rotor upgrade - change offset via rotor possible?

Hello everyone.

I have a 2012 g37x with Coupe S 19's and I love them but do not want to use spacers to get the right fitment. Right now running 20mm all around but thinking about moving to 15mm.

However I am going to be doing rotors soon, can I push the hub out 15mm in some way while doing this upgrade? That way I can run my wheels and get the look I want without spacers?

Thanks in advance

As far as Infiniti is concerned, the coupe wheels have an appropriate offset. They payed attention to scrub radius, among other things. You're changing scrub radius with your spacers.

You're better off buying wheels of the offset you want.

If you push the hub out the rotors won't line up with the calipers

He's looking for an extra thick top hat. That won't move the friction surface in relation to the calipers.

Just buy spacers and longer studs

He's already got spacers, he's looking for extra-thick top hats so he can get rid of them.

I understood his post the same way. It's doing the same thing, just differently.

However, as rotors are consumables and custom ones would likely be expensive to replace, I don't know why you wouldn't just use a quality hubcentric spacer. No need to complicate things when solutions already exist.

You could go with a full wisefab front suspension (Wisefab Nissan 370Z / Infiniti G37 Lock Kit | Feal Suspension, Inc. Race Proven Suspension Technology) or have custom arms made by a competent fabricator that understands how suspension geometry works... but it's probably cheaper to keep your set of spacers.

I am running hub centric H&R 20mm all the way around right now. No matter how I do it within 2 days a vibration starts to creep in. When I take off the spacer everything seems fine with the fit. The bolts are still snug, but sure enough when I re-torque the spacers and the wheels poof! Smooth as glass, for 2-3 days. Temp change seems to effect it.

Here are things I have replaced chasing this vibration down.

Camber Arms front and rear
3 sets of tires
Wheel bearings
New Shocks all the way around
New brake pads with a thorough inspection of the rotors
Stock and Coupe S wheels

If I can't find a sensible solution I will probably just take the spacers off have the car re-aligned and call it a day.

Slartibartfast knows hit the nail on the head with what I am looking for.

I also had a few other alignment problems in there which made it hard to track this down. Although I love all the upgrades for a while it was unclear to me and every shop I asked what the problem was.

Early in the process I took them off a few times and a noise was still there but it ended up being a bad alignment so I checked them off as good but now it seems I was hearing a few noises as one.

Here's a good posting on an Audi site
https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...-and-vibration
Have you tried only running one pair of spacers and see if you can further track down the location?
