Install is straight forward. I went with the factory Akebono pads, got them discounted from Advance Auto. Plenty of other good pads out there, do a search here on the forums.

I have a 08 G37 as well with 35k miles currently and this will be the first time this car has had the pads changed. I ordered premium drilled rotors from Brakeperformance.com since they have an excellent price. As far as the pads are concerned I ordered Stop-Techs new "Street" pads (not to be confused with their old "street" pads which are now rebranded as their "sport" pads) I've read that they have a great bite, minimal fade and are quiet/low dusting. I also ordered Z1's premium SS brake lines and Motul RBF 600.

Conceptzperformance: $114 Shipped for pads
BrakePerformance: 4 Rotors $339 shipped
Z1: SS lines $124 shipped

There are a few DIY's that make great guides
