yes this is another lowering thread.

Before I ask, I just want to say this car is used as a DAILY DRIVER in TORONTO CANADA. So yes theres snow and lots of it.

So my issue is that I like how the front of my car is lower than the back. But I kind of want the back to be the exact the same height as the front. I don't want my car slammed, I want it at a decent height to get over the snow. Not become a snowplow. If you know what I mean. Is there a way to do this? All advice and suggestions welcome.

I don't get the reasoning of lowering just the front. The back is higher the front...

 

To give the car a raked look vs. lowering just the rear and have the front higher, raked look is more common.

Yeah I took some time to really look at my car. O think I want all of it lowered. Thinking of getting BC Coilovers but i don't want to spend money on a camber kit. I'm not trying to slam my car, just to fill the wheel gap. Possible I can get away with it without any cons?

 

I'd consider Tein Basis Z coilovers, these are a good choice for a mild drop (if you have a RWD). If you keep the drop under 1.5" you still should get the rear camber arm & toe bolt kit but the front should still wear ok without an adjustable arm.

 

Ah I have a 2011 g37xS coupe. Yeah def a mild drop only. What are my choices for coilovers, preferably ones with plastic or stainless steel threads. I live in Toronto, Canada so gotta deal with the winters

 

plus if I can save money without the need for both camber kits that would be cool. Lowering ur car is expensive 🙃

 

In your case might stick with Swift lowering springs on your OEM shocks, this is a mild drop (good for your snowy winters) as long as your OEM shocks are in good shape. I would still recommend a rear camber/toe kit though.

 

I'm guessing after I put swift springs on, I'll have eventually have to get new struts and shocks? Hopefully thats further down the line. Good to know I only need the rear camber kit for now.
