Coupe wheels on my Sedan...camber looks off?
I got the rears on my 2013 sedan...coupe 19x9 with bfg g-force comp 2 A/S 275/35r19 tires. Looks great, nice & flush, but the camber is off. Only changed the wheels & tires. Car is completely stock. Didn't expect this to be an issue lol. Is there any camber adjustment in the rear of these things that can be corrected with an alignment? Not driving the car until I get the front tires Monday so the stocks are still on the front
It's possible you hit a pothole or jarred your suspension and now w/ the wider tires it's more obvious. Camber does have a minimal adjustment in back (none in front) so hopefully the concentric mounted bolt just loosened and need to be readjusted.
Yeah the wide tires definitely made it obvious. I can see by eye & the dirt/dust is much more pronounced on the inside of the tread from more surface contact. Maybe I'll just order some spc camber bolts to be sure there is enough adjustment. Both rears appear to have equal amount of negative camber.
If you car is completely stock and you haven't had any suspension damage there should be no reason you can't get camber & toe to spec w/ your OEM adjusters. I'd go for an alignment check first unless you have plans to lower your G.
