Angry AutoKits X Looks to be Ripping Me Off!

So I've ordered a few products from AutoKits X and everything ran pretty smooth. I was working with Alex L and he was very informative and helped out with my Shipments to Canada.
My last purchase was going to be a carbon fibre from splitter. Alex said that he could get it for me but it was going to take a few months as it was still in the process of being designed and tested.
Since all of my other purchases had gone well I placed the order in June of this year.
Alex had kept in contact with me at first. When we started running into the two mth mark I asked on an ETA and Alex said that it was delayed and he was working on getting it out for me ASAP.
Communication was good up until the end of September early October. At this point I wanted to get a solid idea of when I should be getting what I paid for.
Alex stopped returning my calls and responding to emails and I haven't heard from him since.
I wanted to see if any else had gone through anything like this with them and if so what action did they take to get this settled.

They are probably just busy? I just ordered a diffuser from them couple days ago, hope everything is okay for you. They are like 90 min drive from me, if anything happens I can go do something about it in person lol.

Thanks I hope so but it's been months. no answer on the phone. No response to emails. not very good customer service all of a sudden.
Man I wish I had that option.

Oh wow 6 months. I'd be pissed too. Pm me your name, if I ever get I contact with them, I'll ask them. I have to pick up my diffuser ( hopefully not 6 months ) in the future anyway.

Me too

I also ordered my splitter/front lip in June. Got reports of delays a few months later, but now no one answers the phone or emails at all. I haven't heard from them in months. There is no reason something should take 6 months to make.

My guess is they took all the orders for it and then couldn't get it or make it anymore, kept giving reports of delays, hoping they could, and now that they can't, they are just dodging people so they can avoid giving refunds.

Really sucks because I love their products. I wanted to get some more thigns from them, but I can't now. I can't trust I would actually get it. Hell, I couldn't even order it on the phone if I wanted to.
What kind of a business never answers the phone, I've tried from many different numbers too.
Bad thing is they are only ones that make what I'm trying to get. I had talked with VIS about making it, maybe I can pursue that avenue as I know VIS does good work and in timely fashion.

^^ They are probably sitting on that stock they bought earlier or maybe they are just the distributor and have a (production/transit) lead time on those items.

I hope 2017 brings some good news for us - I really wanted to order my CF rear diffuser from them

FWIW,

I ordered a CF AutoKits diffuser through OG at the beginning of the month. Several days later I got an e-mail from Maxwell at OG indicating a status, etc of delivery. I knew it would be at least 6-8 weeks and that was confirmed.

Additionally, I had a question about the finish on the diffuser which I posed directly to AutoKits with a FB DM. Alex L responded quickly with an answer and the status of my order.

Just my experience so far, I'm sorry others are experiencing issues. Been there. I'll update as appropriate.

Sean

Absolutely no excuse to ignore a paying customer for months. Definitely not the right way to do business. Let this be a warning to everyone who buys from this vendor. Whatever the product is it's not worth the headache.
