Anyone found parts that can do the job for a G37 reliably? (such a pressurized container so a single person can bleed the brakes)? -- please post links

 

I use the Motive Power bleeder. Get the Ford cap (0107 or 0117) for our cars.

I believe the only difference between the two is that the 0117 comes with a nicer aluminum cap instead of a plastic one. It's the one I got.

You don't even need a pressurized container. You can simply get some tube that fits tightly over the bleeder and run it into a container full of fluid.

I have a motive and it makes things easy, but it's expensive for what it is. If i had to do it again id make my own from a $10 garden sprayer like i did for my ATF change project

 

Or do the turkey baster method. Suction out as much then fill with new fluid then repeat in a week. 3-4 drains will do the job

 

turkey baster has no value for nipples on calipers . . .

 

Turkey baster won't dislodge air bubbles. Power bleeder also gets the job done in one session.

 

Here's a thread on brake bleeders and brakes. If you get the Motive and want to keep it for a while, I strongly suggest buying the aluminum cap. The Motive was a breeze to use.

U suction out of the master cylinder where you add brake fluid

 

Speed Bleeders work fine for me.

 

Get large syringe and suction fluid out of master cylinder. Refills drive a week and redrain/refill again. A couple of times and you have gotten most of the old fluid out. Dealer uses tool to engage abs system to get fluid stored in there

 

Been using the motive power bleeder for the last 6 years. Works well, no monkeying around, do it once and done with for the next 2 years.

I've had mine for over a decade. Love it.

I'm going to upgrade from the plastic 'Ford' adapter to the aluminum one.
