I just installed the StopTech Slotted and Hawk HPS street pads on my 2010 G37x and I LOVE them. Work really well.

wafflecakes113 I'm getting ready to replace pads and rotors and have the centric totors and pads in the cart ready to checkout from rockauto. I just wanted to check in and see if you're still happy with your choice of brakes.

Absolutely the value of them can't be beat. Car stops on a dime. Just have a few higher priorities to knock out before I bleed them, pedal isn't quite as firm as I think it can be. But doubt that has anything to do with the parts, just probably 60k without being bled. Might be a placebo effect but when I was bedding them in it seemed like I was stopping from 60 in about 30 feet haha.

Thanks. I'm going to order them and replace them in a couple weeks after vacation when I have some time. Thanks for posting this so I didn't have to find something blindly. Can't wait to have non warped rotors!!

Purchased the Centric rotors and pads and they work great!! Also replaced all four endlinks as well with Moogs while I was down there. Just need to bleed them eventually but right now I'm happy being able to stop without the wheel vibrating and no squealing! What a difference, thanks for the part numbers and recommendation.

I;ve had good luck with the Centric rotors (non drilled or slotted) and standard Akebono pads. Make sure you break them in right or you will be posting this thread again in another year

I followed the correct break in procedure so I hope I don't have any issues. So far so good.

Im in the market for a full set F/R of pads and rotors. I was going to go with EBC rotors/pads, but I didnt have a good experience with them on my 15' Sonata Turbo. Braking from 100 mph resulted in a ton of brake fade and a ton of shuddering. Has anyone here used EBC rotors/pads on their G?

Not on my G, but my experience with a set of EBC reds on another car was lots of noise and dust and they lasted less than a year. I run Centric rotors and Akebono pads on the G and they work great.

I think previous owner put on aftermarket sport brake pads on. The car would screech all the time and I hated that.

I put on some akebonos a month ago and love them. True, the car doesn't brake as hard but there is no screeching. I personally prefer giving up some stopping power for the daily comfort of no screeching.

I went with the napa coated rotors and ceramic pads. I don't beat on my car nor do i gradma it either. I have been happy with them. No noises and stops when I need too..plus no rust on the discs. I had ordered online and picked up in the store with a decent discount. I don't notice any difference between these and the akebono I had previously.

Whatever you decide, I like cryogenically treated rotors. I have never experienced brake judder with them.
From my experience, the noise comfort is dependent upon the aggressiveness of the pads when mated with Cryo treated rotors. But I have had success offsetting noise with application brake grease between the pads/ calipers.
