We were at Natty Greene's last weekend. Downtown was a complete zoo. It was non-stop loud bikes, cars, trains, no parking, etc, etc. Reminded me of a daytona bike week. Completely mess. haha.
Beer was awesome though!
yeah downtown is live on the weekends. most of my compliments come in that kind of environment. Went to a biker cookout Sunday and they were all over it, and whenever I go to a carwash. Not so much at the local Applebee's lol. But when you are around "CAR" ppl they tend to take notice.

Sorry if this has been asked before. But I now realize that I am ok with the stock height at the rear. The only thing that really bugs me is the front gap. What springs can I use to lower the front maybe .5 inch? The springs should almost be the same rate as stock ones so that handling/ride quality is not much affected.

I have my blue vert almost 2 yrs now and been contemplating dropping it on springs. For a while there weren't any vert specific springs from major manufacturer. Until (recently?), HR now has part # 53030-2 made specific for "roadster" which is another name for the vert.

My warranty is now over so I am ready to pull the springs for the HR. I just wish that someone has it installed on the vert so I can see exactly how it looks. I have a base model so running on stock (staggered) 18's. I also have 20mm spacers in rear and 15mm in front.

No a shop installed. Here are the pics

I don't know of any that do just a .5 inch drop.

That's called coilovers. haha
I'll snap some new pics soon and post em up.

How's the black interior been treating you? White get dirty quick, but so much better in the sun!

Came across the Tanabe "Normal Feel" springs that is close to factory rates and ride comfort. The drop looks mild and from this coupe picture the front looks perfectly drop in my opinion.

Make sure the springs are vert specific. Coupe springs are generally too soft for the vert.

You can try them. It is pretty much trial and error. I went with the eibach's because more ppl had used them. But I do know the H&R spring will slam it. This is from the lowered vert thread.

I have since dropped it on H&R's... That **** is slammed..

15mm H&R Spacers are coming to kick out those rears more.. Keep everyone posted with final outcome.

This is the thread.

The heat hasn't gotten that bad yet. don't drop the top during peak sun hrs. and I have the AC seats. The worst thing is the pollen...it really shows on the black. Interior looks dusty all the time.

I feel your pain. I went around and round about how to drop it...got tired of looking. The eibachs turned out good for me. If you are going to change out your factory wheels you need take that into consideration.

Tanabe uses the same part # for ALL the G applications, AFAIK they are the only company that does this, for that reason alone I'd look at other springs first, and since the vert weighs quite a bit more I don't think the Tanabe spring rate would suffice, you'd probably bottom them out pretty easily.

Tanabe Springs were going to be my choice for my vert too until I saw they were designed for the coupe. I just want a mild drop with comfortable spring rates to get rid of some wheel gap. My 350Z was lowered too low and I don't want to go that route again. This car is my daily so I want to keep the nice G ride but cut into those gaps. Personally I love the look of the eibach but I don't want my bumper to hit everything.
Maybe after I move to Florida they'll grow on me.
(Roads aren't great here in KY)

Might look at the Ksport coilovers, they are vert-specific and are priced well.

I had good luck with BCs, but went with stiffer rear springs - no regrets there.
If you are planning on messing around with the height, COs is the way to go.
