Best lubricant for control arm ball joint

Best lubricant for control arm ball joint

for upper control arm ball joint, what is the best spray based lubricant? Lithium based or silicone based? taking into affect the spray has to be rubber safe.

Don't use white lithium grease as it will degrade rubber. Just use a silicon based lube.

Silicone will grab dirt wearing it down faster you can also use anti seize

According to Kinetix, their ball joints (actually heim joints) are teflon lined. If they need lubrication, it means they should be replaced.

Hmmn. I asked Kinetix directly myself and they said they use marine white lithium grease.

Not surprised. Doesn't change the fact that teflon lined rod ends shouldn't need lubrication.
