Topspeed Pro-1 coilovers? Anyone?

I have searched and came up empty here. Looking for anyone with these Topspeed coilovers that could share a review. $650 for a true type coilover seems nice. As everybody here seems to love their exhaust, I'm hoping the coilovers are a good bet as well. They don't really say much about them in the "product description" tab. Opinion? Thoughts?

Pass. Tein basis are cheaper, and from a company with years of R&D.

Did you search the suspension forum or the review forum? Also, jump onto my350z.com and The370Z.com forums. Since the G is an upsized Z, the suspensions are the same and what is said over there will apply to your question.

Also, you get what you pay for.

I used the search feature to search the whole site with a few different set of key words with no luck. I did this before making this thread. But now I just read some reviews at my350z like you said. Apparently these coils are super noisy! Bummer.

You said you get what you pay for, are you saying the Tein Basis are not good coilovers either? I was under the assumption they were great. Although they don't include top mounts and aren't a true coilover design in the rear.

Just sayin' a set of $700 coil-overs aint gonna be as good as a set of $1,500 coil-overs. Which won't be as good as a $3,000 set!

They aren't really the same. Sure the parts may fit but won't work as intended. I have the KW V3 coils for my sedan and they are sold by all vendors as fitting the sedan, coupe and Z but they are way too low in the rear for the sedan even at the highest setting.

KW coil-overs are known for this issue with the sedan. They even expressly void their warranty if you use an adapter to rise the back. Still, most of the Z parts will fit and are often marketed for the G.
