toe & alignment
Hoping someone can help answer this question. Im doing my swift spring installation this coming up sunday and also dremmeling the toe bolts + spc arm install.
Alignment will be done following day on Monday at 430pm is what I have scheduled. My only issue is, I will need to drive my car to work and from there to alignment shop. Its approximately 12-13 miles total. The question is will the springs settle enough by then and will Ibe okay with driving 12-13 miles with camber and "toe" out of spec?
Im no noob to this since previously I had my G35 coupe lowered on coilovers and spc rear camber kit. Only difference was I waited 1 month after installing coilovers than did spc camber kit and aligned following day except alignment shop was only 5 miles.

If you're just installing the rear camber/toe set mark your OEM toe bolt location w/ a scribe prior to dremel-ing the slot, then adjust your SPC rear arms to the same length as your OEM arms. This will obviously be out of spec but it will keep your alignment more even side to side which is safer than just putting everything on the car blind. I'd try to get a friend to take you to and from work and just drive your car a bit around the block once a day for those 5 days until it settles out unless your work is just a couple miles from your house.
Once you get the install done just take it for an easy drive and see if it has a predictable feel, if you don't feel safe behind the wheel try to make some other arrangements to get around.

Unfortunately my schedule is tight and I have no choice but to get vehicle aligned the following day. Once the spring fully settles I will have to fork out extra money to realign...sucks but oh well
