Questions about going from non sport to oem akebono brakes

I was looking at the link below for the non-sport to sport brake upgrade package and had a few questions regarding the parts to add on.

z1motorsports.com/brakes/z1-motorsports/z1-akebono-sport-brake-upgrade-package-front-and-rear-p-4296.html

Apart from the pads, rotors, and calipers, are there any other parts that I'll need to purchase (banjo bolts, Z1 ss brake lines, dust shields) from that link?

Thanks for helping

The shorter banjo bolts if you are using stock lines. Dust shields need trimmed, no major deal, just use tin snips.

You'll also need to make sure the wheels you have will clear the BBK.

This thread should fill in the blanks, and save you money if you want to source everything yourself. You'll also need a new spare tire, the base spare won't clear either.

See if you can get the calipers from a junkyard. I got mine from a local LKQ for $432 including tax. They were still in good condition surprisingly. I thought about painting them but decided not. It's been working for me since May 2015.

Thanks for the link. I sent you a PM by the way, if you don't mind double checking the parts list in my cart.

Awesome research Blewt! That would have been nice to be available when I ordered my BBK from Concept Z Performance. I'm glad I spent the little extra and bought their slotted rotors and SS brake lines though. My preference was to have the OEM+ look so the OEM finish on the brakes is worth it for me. The brakes still look and function amazing almost a year later and pad wear has been minimal with the basic Centric pads. They do produce a fair amount of dust however, which isn't too much of an issue as I clean my car regularly.

Having the ability to hit the brakes later and stop faster is such a relief. The OEM sport brakes on my G35S were worn and scary lol. I also bought Dot 4 brake fluid and did a thorough flush of the system which is an important component that should be considered.

Here's my exact config and cost...
