I personally wouldn't use a spherical rod end ball joint like on the Z1 for the street myself. Way too many bumps to torture one to premature failure for me. Plus there isn't any boot or grease, nothing to make this thing last. It is however fairly easy to replace and obtain probably.

A 19mm wrench held, but it was whatever the standard size is, down.
Well it turns out you were right. The passenger side started coming loose and making a lot of noise. Sounded like my strut wasn't tightened down. I backed the bolt out, squirted red locktight in there and tightened it back down with an 8mm allen wrench. Now I'm enjoying no noise and I can drive it how I intended I was going to be able to.

Waittt a sec, 35Sport you up in Lake Mary right? You revved at me the other day. I drive the lowered grey 37s.

I've got a set of those Z1 Front Camber arms collecting dust now. Where did you get alignment done?

Yeah that was me. I always rev at Zs and Gs as my way of saying hello. Nice G, you have there. I installed the arms myself and brought them originally to PRS in Sanford where they proceeded to try and rip me off by doing nothing and charging me for an alignment. I eventually ended up bringing it to Nissan in Deland as they have a GTR tech there named Derrick who's into Zs and racing. He knows his stuff and always takes care of me when I've been in there.

I was reading through the installation instructions of the SPL arms today and came across this:

"To adjust caster, lengthen or shorten one adjuster at a time. For more caster shorten the adjuster towards the rear
of the vehicle or lengthen the adjuster towards the front of the vehicle. For less caster lengthen the adjuster
towards the rear of the vehicle or shorten the adjuster towards the front of the vehicle. Please refer to the hybrid
adjuster instructions below."

I know Z1 isn't SPL, but Z1's instructions over the phone to make caster adjustments are exactly that of SPL's instructions although the overall design and adjustment isn't exactly the same. I was debating on getting rid of my Z1's and saving up for the SPL's, but I'll just stick with my Z1's. I'm going to be pulling them off to regrease and re-lock tight the balljoints together. I'm getting some bushing to body noise when going over speed bumps very slowly.

Exactly why I swapped all my parts over to SPL!!
SPL are very easy to adjust on the alignment rack all you need is a socket and extensions..
And I hope you don't need more than 1 degree of caster on those SPC because that's all you get out of them...you get what you pay for!!
Checkout page 3 of your SPL instructions regarding heim joints:

http://www.splparts.com/content/SPLFUAZ34.pdf

Their maxes are WAY further out than my Z1's and the heim joints on the Z1's are much thicker material. I don't see any issue with adjusting the camber at the ball joint given how far the joint is threaded into the Z1 arm as well as the overall diameter of the threaded Z1 ball joint.

Hey bro, I bought some z1 upper control arms and put them in myself. Went to go and get them aligned at fire stone they couldn't do it... they were telling me that they would have to take out the upper control arm to adjust the caster and camber since it was off. So is that true? Asking for help thanks. Oh! Have a 08 g37s coupe 😁
