You go lower or higher than the stock dampers on swifts?
I put them on at the same time so I never had the Swifts with stock struts. I've never had any issue with uneven ride height.

I'd do coils the first time. Take it from me, who got swift springs then 3 months later got coils because of the ride / uneven drop ...
There is no uneven drop with Swifts.

You WILL need camber kits!

Unless the coils have Swift springs and Koni dampers, don't bother.

To the OP:
Pass on the Eibachs, go straight to Swift.

I have the Swift/Koni combo and have to say - it does everything you want. At full soft, it's smother and more comfortable than stock; firm it up and it holds it's own on a road course. It's all definitely acceptable for DOT tires. If you were to try running slicks on an autocross though, it might be a little soft. But that's an extreme use case, and I haven't heard of anyone going that hardcore-trackday with a G. But as a GT car suspension for a GT car, I'd say it does everything really great!

I think it's the Swifts on sedans that "look" like they are a bit lower in back, seem to be just about right on the coupes.
KW coilovers on the sedans drop lower in back compared to coupes too.

For NYC roads can I live with Swift springs? Like what happens when you guys hit a small pothole? Usually with Stock you don't feel as much. Doesn't it destroy the fenders? I hate this wheel gap

If you stick w/ the 19s it should be something you can live with, if you run 20s you may get a backache.

I installed the Swift springs on my G37x coupe two weeks ago and it is a perfect drop. I didn't want it slammed and the stance is perfect and the ride is very smooth.

Did you have to do anything for camber or caster or were you able to stay stock? I have an x-coupe and plan on installing swifts soon. Just trying to get an idea if I should plan on doing it all at the same time if needed. Hoping not so I can spend $ on other goodies!

I've been waiting to make sure the suspension settles before the alignment so planning on getting it done this weekend. Since it is a mild drop, from what I've read on this site no camber/caster kit is needed with these springs.

My drop on swifts is definitely uneven. The rear is much lower than the front. I don't like this, but it's not a deal breaker. Keep in mind I have a convertible and swift does not make a spring designed for the extra weight from the hardtop n all the mechanical stuff to drop the top.

It's also been hell getting an alignment. There is only one method for adjusting the camber on the verts. That is SPC adjustable toe n Camber bolts. Easy to install....pain in the a$$ to drill the new holes and get it done. Just my two cents.
