Hey guys one question,

i own a infiniti g37s which i am gonna sell because i bought me a infiniti q50 premium. Seeing that i have the akebono brakes.. i wanted to know if i could change them.. like a straight up swap!!!

before you guys are gonna ask...

im from curacao and the Q50 is being shipped as we speak...
i just wanted to know before i sell the G37s, if that swap is possible..

(so in short my g37s gets the normal brakes and the q50 the akebono brakes)

I believe the calipers will be a direct swap but the rear rotors will be different due to different parking brake sizing. Your front rotors have the same part # but the rears don't. So you'd need new rear rotors for your G, and your Q.

 

So i cant change the rear rotors to make it simple, right?

atleast the fronts are a direct swap....

 

Yeah, there was a guy selling an Akebono kit in our classified section from a Q50 and he said the rear rotors were a new part# and they won't work w/ the G parking brake, but everything else would work.
