My e brake needs to be tightened bad, I could pull the lever all the way up while not in gear and still roll on a steep hill. I've tried looking for others posts on this but couldn't find anything useful, some sources say to take apart the center console area and tighten it there, while others say to remove the rear tires and tighten the nut back there. Anyone have any input or advice for this, or better yet some kind of service instructions?

Sorry to bump an old thread. I'm looking to adjust it from the lever, but the photo in the thread no longer exists. Could someone please show me where to pry so I can access the cable from the driver's seat?
