As I wait for my stoptech BBKs to arrive, I'm debating doing my suspension since that area will be open when the BBKs go on. I'm currently at 85kmiles on a 12' . Been driving alot.

Let me know if I am going in the right path after all my research on many threads;

BC BR coilovers with swift springs. (Not sure if I need a camber kit, I'm not planning to drop under a inch)

 

Hotchkis is the way to go. I'm on my OEM endlinks for roughly 40k miles without any issues. You may want to check out the MOOG OEM replacement endlinks. They aren't "tuner" endlinks, but they are beefier than stock. Check RockAuto. They have good prices.

Front strut bar should be ok. It's mostly for looks, but it's not that expensive, and they look pretty cool. Install is easy, so why not!

Check out the Fortune 500 coilovers too. BC seems to have a clunking issue with the rears, from what I can recall. You can get Swift springs for them too. I'd set aside $ for an alignment kit for the future as well. Just in case. A 1" drop shouldn't require one, but better safe than sorry. Definitely go with SPL for safety reasons. More $ than SPC, but far more durable.

Yea I'd stay away from BC mine clunked. I sold them after 2 weeks.

 

I've read many stories about the clunking noise from BC, seems like most of these issues are from backyard installs.. My other option was KW v3, fortune 500s looks good too, I want the best option for AWD sedan..

As for the end links, I did look at the Moogs, I notice SPL has end links, are those worth getting? Do you know if that front camber arm comes as a pair?

 

KW doesn't make sets for AWDs, might look into KSport though, their COs are true coilovers in back compared to the others that have the separate spring/shock setup.

If you are going to go with the Fortune's I would recommend going 12/10 on your spring rates and getting the longer springs for the rear.

I really like my Fortune's but I feel like the car is a little too low for my taste. At the same time, it may be exactly the stance you're looking for so take it with a grain of salt.

 

I'll consider that if I go this route, and is this with the swift spring upgrade.

Right now I got my shop ordering up my sway bars with spl endlinks and my strut bar. Issues locating a dealer for the rear end links, but as soon as they get it I shall swipe that card.....and continue with the coilover research.

 

Were these the front end links you ordered? I'm also in the process of doing the same research as you.

 

Reach out for Adam or Krystian over at Race Consulting Agency in the Chicago market; they'll beat or match anyone's prices and will generally include shipping in that matched total.

He did send me an option for front end links but I can't recall what it was at this point in time.

 

i have the swift springs on stock struts and im a lil negative camber in the front but the rear got into spec. when i got my rear sway i got the whiteline endlinks and they wrok great and pretty cheap from tunerzstore.

 

I'll keep that in mind, i believe the shop is using the vendors that do business with...

Yea same one, they already got that on the list, believe they waiting on SPl to give them info on a close location to order the rear.


Car is in the shop for leaking oil, warranty covering that, but drove a awd Q50 as a loaner, that suspension felt different compared to my G...

Moving forward; not ordering coils untill I gather more info on the fortune 500s and other brands too. My sway bars, strut bars have been ordered.. Rear end links by whitelines. Was unable to get any fronts, I'll continue with my stock ones. I'm hoping the rear stock was causing other members issues by breaking.

All shall be installed with the BBKs.
