Which rear endlinks do I want?

I can now count myself in the crowd that has snapped an oem rear swaybar endlink. Other than my hotchkis sway bars my 09 6spd is completely stock. I've read through the numerous threads on this topic but still haven't really understood what is the best option for me now.

Should I get the spl or the whiteline? I'm not looking to modify the car other than what has already been done. No future coils, or wheels, or anything else.

Thanks,
Dan

If the end links are not at extreme angles, just chalk it up to wear and tear. Replace with OE and move on. That's what I'll do if/when mine bust.

Either of those two would be fine. Heck. Even OEM replacements from MOOG.

Ditto. OEM endlinks are like $10/each

I don't know why folks are advising you to replace a component that broke with another of the exact same component. If it was defective I could see that. But you stated that you broke them after installing he stiffer rear sway bar. So to me that seems to indicate that the stiffer bar plus your driving style was too much for the OEM part to handle.

I had the same situation that you do. I have had both Whiteline and SPL rear end links. Either one will do just fine and will likely last as long as you have your car. Whiteline is cheaper. I wouldn't suggest that you replace with another OEM or OEM equivalent. But you might do that and it could last you forever. But it might not.

The Moog OEM replacement rear end links are *MUCH* beefier than the stock ones and less expensive than the "tuner" end links. They also come with grease fittings. I put them on when I installed my Hotchkiss so was able to compare them. Not even close.

I've seen pics of them and they do look stouter than OEM but haven't seen side by side comparing the two, would be nice to have that comparison shot
(hint hint)

I just pulled the trigger on the moog replacements off of amazon for $25 a piece. If I hadn't just dropped like $2k on my dsm I probably would have gone with something fancier. Stay tuned for a few days and I'll upload the pics of the stock vs Moog.
