Sways for my x sedan family DD
I am having springs installed, F&R camber kit and bigger tires and wheels.
While half my suspension is laying on the garage floor, will this be an opportunity to add sways? Or is that a totally unrelated mod?
Hotchkis seems to be the only game in town for x sedan sways. Is it worthwhile or am I just looking for a new way to spend money.
I'm not going to the track or racing or anything like that. This is a family daily driver.
But...I always say: "if you're going to do something, do it right"

Putting new sways on the car is something you can do at any time, irrespective of the new springs you're about to install. It's actually the opposite of looking for ways to spend money... aftermarket sways are at the top of the list for money well spent.

That's just not how it works, comparing a DD to a car you race with. Aftermarket sways will give you more confidence while driving, because of the reduced body roll. You'll be taking sharp turns with more precision, and sweeping curves at a higher speed. There's virtually zero increase in NVH, because it's not a suspension mod per se, it's a handling mod.

I think then I will hold off on the sways as I have a F1 Pinnacle tint coming due.
Last question though: are the sways a doable DIY with a reasonable set of tools, a floor Jack and stands? I assume there would be an alignment post install?
Thanks again,
Sean
Took me about 2 hours to install mine. Front is a piece of cake. Rear requires dropping the exhaust down which makes the process a little longer. I have a cat back so I just had to unbolt the mufflers. Easy install though just PB blast your exhaust bolts before hand

Wait... LOL. I just realized Twista said the exact same thing. Well, there it is.
No alignment necessary.

Excuse me while I saunter over to the exhaust forum.
