When researching all this I noticed they are the same price, roughly $200 per side, as the non-sport coupe strut. The sport struts are listed at $250. This tells me the xS sedan did not receive any special underpinnings.
So those of us with xS sedans could switch out the struts for a more sporty ride? That's typically a maintenance item anyway, no?

Absolutely. Sport tuned shocks, aftermarket swaybars, and a set of summer-only tires will transform that xS into a sport sedan that will match its looks.

I dont think there are any aftermarket shock for the X that would be considered an upgrade.

Why not just the OEM sport shocks?

I'm at 65K miles....surely that's a maintenance necessity now to change out the shocks

I don't think thw RWD S front shocks fit the awd. I believe the front driveshaft stuff changes how the shocks mount.
