Tanabe SOC coilovers installed

This subject has been well covered in this forum but I'll discuss a few items I hadn't read before I did the installation on my 2013 Journey coupe.

I had read here that the car would settle more after installation but in my case it took about ten days.

I installed SPC camber kits front and rear but didn't install the toe kit initially as I only dropped the rear one inch. That didn't work. I had to install the toe kit to get the rear in spec.

The YouTube videos for installation of the SPC toe kit show aluminum rear subframes. My car has a steel subframe and requires a carbide bit to cut the slots for the toe bolts.

A note about the handling. I installed an oversize rear stabilizer bar. My target for handling is my previous street car, a stock E46 M3 coupe. I'm not there yet but when I replace my OEM all-season tires with Super Sport tires like my M3 I might reach the target. The ride is good, the car settles after bumps, rotates well and corners flat.

My sedan also has the metal control arm brackets, I just used a metal cut-off wafer disc in the dremel tool, worked much better than the cutting bit I had and also allowed you to keep the dremel perpendicular to the slot, much easier access and easier to view. And the wafers are like $5 for a dozen
