^^^ This man speaks the truth.

OP you need to make sure the tech elongated the bolt hole for the aftermarket toe kit otherwise your toe will be WAAAAAAY off hence the premature death of your tires. Good luck.

There's been members here & on G35driver that have had the alignment guy just install the new toe bolt in the unmodified slot and twist the washer to the point where it won't slide any more and be done with it. This will result in toe being quite out of spec.

I'm thinking this is what's going on w/ your situation, or the tech isn't up on aftermarket camber adjusters
I pretty much have the same setup tein s techs with the spc rear camber kit. I've killed a rear tire set that lasted me about 4500 miles just like OP.

the shop I took it too didn't have to cut to elongate the hole. I'm already running low on tread again on my second set since the drop!
I hear some people didn't have to cut or elongate the hole for the camber kit?!
I'll post up the sheet of the alignment specs in a bit.

With Tein S techs you WILL need that toe slot elongated, no way you will get toe in spec without the additional range that longer slot provides.
The ones that didn't have to elongate the toe slot must have been on very mild drops or they aren't being honest. The S Techs are a deeper drop spring so you will need that full toe bolt range.

I would take it to another shop. You have to elongate the holes to get the extra adjustability. The stock bolts are adjustable, just not enough when you really drop the car.

Looks like I'm going to have to find a shop around here to elongate it.
here are the specs from the shop. see below.
i don't even drive on the highway, i mostly drive in city streets so mostly stop and go, still the first set i burned through were the re760 from bridgestone, now my second set that i burned through on the rear are falken PT722. you think it's the suspension??

Those specs don't look bad, the front camber is a bit high but your toe F&R is fine and your rear camber is good, this shouldn't result in crazy tread wear. Do you have pics of how your G is sitting now?

blnewt - the front is not the issue, front tires don't look a day old. the rear is what is troubling me! I'm thinking of going with Continental DWS. the current setup is 245/40 front, rear 275/35. i think i want to go bigger on the rear so like 275/40.
plus I'm looking for an alignment shop in oc preferably or LA.

heres an old picture but its the same..Name: 20140928_071951_RichtoneHDR_zps858c81c6.jpg

edit. also since i am new to a RWD , when ever there are grooves or lines on the road, the REARend of the car pulls into it, not sure if thats normal or not, it hasn't really bothered me. but in the RAIN, the RAIN handling is terrible can't go more than 40mph w/out feeling like the back is going to give out.

Did you get that alignment recently? If not you may have hit a pothole or something else that may have jarred your alignment off.

That pulling into grooves is probably tramlining, some tires are more prone to it than others and wider tires especially. Also if you have some very worn tires they can be unpredictable on those kind of roads.

Just going by your alignment sheet your G should have good tread wear.

no, not recently but now that the tires are pretty much toasted I'm going to get it realigned once more after the install of the tires. i wish the tread wear was good!!

SO based off those readings should i still cut "elongate" 1/4" towards the car?? cuz its currently not elongated but my buddy said they can do it when they install the tires.. i'm going to have them check the springs too what if they were installed wrong or upside down? lol but the car drives fine.

Just basing it on those alignment readings you shouldn't have to do any elongating of the toe slot, but looking how low your car sits I'm amazed that they were able to get the toe/camber in spec without elongating that slot???

Something is amiss here, so I think I'd get that slot widened just to have that tool available should you need it. BTW, were your tires worn evenly, worn to the inside, jagged/raised edges of the tread block?

Seems like something has altered your alignment from that original data sheet, or you've been doing a lot of hard driving that you're keeping a secret, lol.
