2008 G37 on Eibachs major sag? or something else?

Hey Guys,
Maybe someone can help me here. I have a 2008 g37 Coupe. Day 1 I got stillen sway bars and Eibach Pro Kit and 20inch wheels put on. 3 Years and 40k Miles later, the last year living in Los Angeles, I've noticed the wheel gap go from 2 fingers to sitting in the wheel well. Wheels are constantly rubbing and there is no SPRING to the springs anymore. When you sit in the car it doesn't go down anymore. Tire shop says I should get a new set of springs. Wondering if I should get another set of Eibachs or do I possibly need struts, shocks, even though the tire place said those were in good shape. Also, the streets in LA are terrible! Wondering If I should get something that raises the car up a bit more to deal with these roads. Any Advice is appreciated.

~Chill.

So it's been a 1" sag over three years, you might contact Eibach and discuss this w/ them, they may be able to work out something, although unlikely. Would be good to talk w/ them just to see what they say.

If nothing can be resolved you might look into a milder spring like Tein H-Tech, Tanabe and possibly Swift (if they have a coupe application).

Even if the struts/shocks were blown (or on their way out) the drop when static should still be close to where you were when initially installed.

Gotcha. Yes the front has definitely gotten lower as its almost touching the frame when turning now. Not as noticeable in the back but still sagging. I will have a look at the Tein's. Do they have a softer ride?

Thanks for the reply by the way.

Haven't had firsthand experience w/ them but they seem to get decent reviews for comfort, they're a linear spring so they will have a bit different feel compared to your progressive Eibachs.

Don't get Tein S-tech, i'm having a major problem with them and thinking about switching back to eibach. They ate up my rear tires in 30 days and i have a rear camber kit plus toe bolt kits. Been to 2 different shops and no one can get the car aligned right. Not worth it

The springs won't be the reason they can't align it, it's got to be the installation of the camber/toe set or the techs aligning your car. Either they didn't elongate the toe slot properly or they're not familiar w/ the SPC adjusters. Some shops are in a fog when it comes to aligning lowered cars w/ aftermarket adjusters.
Ask me how I know
