So a while back my car was curbed. Everything is now fixed but I'm not really happy with it. After 3 alignments something is still not right. This issue has made lose interest in lowering the car and ride quality has suffered. OK so the major issue is that the right rear wheel is poking out .5inchs or 13mm and is a 1/4 lower. There is no spacer in there. Countless people have checked it out and swear an alignment will solve it. Not the case. The car does align okay or within spec on paper. After alignment tech and master tech say sometimes they come from the factory like that. Not on a 50k sports car and not in mine as I thoroughly checked everything out.
Some back ground Right rear wheel was curbed.
Parts replaced
Wheel, tire, lower control arm (spring bucket) , camber arm, toe arm.

Everything measures out. I just spent a good half hour measures all components to left side. All measured out ok.

Minor issues
Car still pulls to the right ?? After fresh alignment.
Noticeable noise from right rear. OK maybe bearings and or hub?

BB I agree with you. Only thing I can think of is the strut. The impact being at 6 oclock could have bent the strut tower thus producing a unwanted angle and the slight lowering. I have a spare strut but could use this excuse for c/o.

You said the affected area is the rear, doubt that a shock would be the culprit since everything is tied to the spring bucket (aka lower control arm) unless it was severely mangled which would have been obvious upon inspection.

What was the nature of the impact? Was this a very high speed ramming into a curb that could have also caused some frame (unibody) issues? Like BB mentioned something is bent and you've done a lot of what should have been done already. Having a 13mm extension is surely something pretty substantial, you may need to get that to a collision shop to spec the frame (unibody).

G/L, hope you can get to the bottom of this.

Ok Im pretty sure I found the issue. Turns out the wheel is different offset. I swapped wheels from side to side and the issue moved. I guess I received the rear wheel from a g37s convertible 30mm offset compared to my 43mm. 13mm off just as my readings show. Now Im just going to fix my old wheel and call it a day. My wheels are all banged up, just going to save for wheels.

Lol, too bad you had to go through all that but at least the culprit was a mistaken part rather than damage.
Hopefully you can now enjoy your G again
