Total for parts was 1,200 and change with shipping included. Install cost me 300 for brakes + oil change and some underbody work to solve my scrape issues lately.
Can I have the info to the shop that you got your install done at? I got quoted for over 800 for the install at a dealership while at the same time was told that I couldn't use my oem brake lines. What parts did you go with and did you use stainless steel or the original brake lines?

hey are those calipers painted or powder coated? I'm thinking about getting yellow. also if I'm missing anything on the list please do tell me.

i have a 2012 g37xS sedan

so based on what I've learned, in order to upgrade i need to get

calipers
rotors
pads
hardware
shorter banjo bolts.


i am also getting hawk ceramic break pads and stop tech slotted rotors.

probably need a new spare tire too, not sure on the XS though, your wheels will clear but not sure on the spare

Getting these installed today and by installer tells me I have two drivers side front calipers. No passenger side front caliper. Anyone know where I can find a passenger side front caliper in this color? I've emailed the person I bought them from and I'm awaiting their reply, but I don't want to wait around for a long time.

No, you have to have a designated R&L to keep the bleeders on top.

I am not sure if this has been asked and answered yet. I am in the process of upgrading to the Akebono calipers with Project Mu NS400 pads. I glanced at the brake pads and I noticed that it didn't include brake pad shims. Are shims required and if so where can I buy them?

Also I am looking at the stainless steel brake kits and i noticed that the non-sport has 6 lines and the sport models (Akebono?) only has 4 brake lines in that kit. Is that right?
