Anyone know where I can buy some. Got some used calipers on here for a good price but they need some touch up work on a few parts. I want to keep them the oem silver and was wondering what would be the closest? I could do the G2 silver caliper paint as a last resort.
If you haven't put the calipers on your car yet, and I'm assuming these are the big sport calipers I'd go w/ a different color (since you already have them off). So many awesome combos to choose from IMO. https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-calipers.html
Hmm, who is it on here that everyone goes to for powder coating? I may go that route. I think. I think the VHT silver might be the same color or close enough.

I know a lot of people go to JP and a lot go to ONEighty for work.
You guys suck lol. I guess I'm gonna go ahead and redo these to a burnt copper or something. Now can't decide on what color caliper sticker and if I want Akebono or infiniti. Probably Akebono so it looks less oem.

I'm finishing up the powder coating on mine tonight. Once they're dry, I am slapping on black Akebono decals. Black will look better on the burnt orange copper better than white will.
I toyed with the idea of red decals, but I think the black is the best bet.

Lol, I could see if you had the calipers on and just had a few places to touch up then going OEM silver would be a plan. But having the opportunity to make them your own and have them stand out a bit should be a nice touch. And yes we are here strictly to drive you crazy
Oh, and here's a big thread on that powdercoater over on 370z forum' http://www.the370z.com/group-buys/72...ercoating.html

Conner, do you do your own powdercoating? If so it appears you could generate a decent side income just from calipers around here. I'm going to have a few questions for you in the near future~you've been warned

I'm no where near an expert, but I think these calipers are going to turn out pretty well. To start practicing, I just bought a couple bags of powder and went at it. This was my second or third job, maybe. If I remember correctly, it's called "chameleon midnight" or something stupid like that.
My apologies for all the dust. The wheel has been sitting in the back of the shop for a few months.
Nice ^^^^ Did you just get one of those Harbor Freight kits or something similar? I've been very tempted but not having a dedicated bake oven would be a problem.
Oh no no not at all. I've been helping out someone local who is a one-man show and is up to his neck with work. Hoping to be able to PC some stuff for free and make some money while learning some new cool stuff.
The next thing he's getting into is Hydrographics - definitely one of the coolest processes I've seen. Can't wait to get my hands on this stuff.
