That is quite the gap on the rear...
Can any of you Swift lowers explain to me Why you would pay at least $100+ over all other spring options to have a slight difference in ride height?
Why not leave it stock?
Eibach prokit on both of my sedans so far and never had any problems with rubbing, ride quality and so on. And now I also have Teins S-techs on the front and no problems. I mixed Eibach prokit rear/Tein Stech front to get rid of that horrible Inifiniti/Nissan front end gap difference.

Keep in mind that I sold my wheels to- ANMVQ, those wheels on my sedan but with Eibach lowering springs. Never rubbed, even with 3people on the rear seat. My forst 2007 sedan(Black) and then my current 2008 sedan(PG).

 

Two reasons.


Speed bumps.
No need for camber arms.


Also, an inch improvement goes a long way, just ask AUR11.

 

Okay here are a few car pics after it was dirty. The first one is the original photo at stock height and the second is the car in the same spot with Swifts.

 

Looks great AUR11, and the drop is certainly noticeable. As far as why anyone would spend a premium over Eibachs, well Swift is THE premium spring source in Japan and has been for some time. The drop is something that the driver won't even have to think about much on daily drives where a drop of even a 1/2" more can make a huge difference in what you can and cannot do. Swifts are specifically tuned for comfort and daily driving, still firmer than stock but not a drastic change.

Luckily there's spring choices for most every type of setup so as long as you get what makes YOU happy then BINGO!

 

I had L-tuned (eibach) springs on my IS300, I wish I would have gone with Swifts on that car too. However L-tuned was a dealer installed accessory and my car was brand new. Handled well but I had issues with noises from the rear and the car wouldn't align properly.

Thanks Blnewt! It is certainly more of a drop than I was expecting but looks perfect to me. I can certainly tell the car is stiffer and you do feel more of the imperfections in the road but wow these springs paired with potenza s04's and a 370Z rear sway = so much fun in the corners.

 

Also, eibachs are ok but they do have noticeable up and down jostling in the back when on bumpy roads. I have not experienced this with the swifts.

 

The Gap in the rear is almost where I had my coils set? In Boston you cant have it "that" low you'll scrap everywhere. I had eibachs on my Coupe and EVERYTIME I went to work( Boston- garage) if I did not go in angled I scrapped the bottom of the car, I hit my front sway, exhaust ect as sometimes I couldn't go in angled ( Busy time) like 5pm I would have to leave strait and I would cringe. Heck I even went to a drive in last summer and scraped the whole way to the spot we parked( The middle of the road was a little higher than where the wheels traveld, dirt road :/ Wasn't fun.

Bringing my car to my local mechanic in the morning. Having the swift springs, G37s rear sway bar, Infiniti BBK, HR wheel spacers, and the 19" coupe wheels with Pirelli Cinturato P7 installed.

yea i know. Thinking about the front chin spoiler and upgrading my headlight bulbs to the OSRAM XENARC 66240 CBI

 

Looks great with the drop. Hard to tell on flush perspective, but look like they are fairly out there.
