Nissan/ Infiniti uses Akebono brakes for their sport models. Not really sure what you're asking.

They are Akebono and are comparable to the Brembo brakes used earlier on the G35.

Akebono also make the brakes on the P1 hypercar - hopefully that answers your question. They also make brakes thats used on jumbo jets.

The Akebono's are better than the older Brembo, simply ask someone who has gone from Brembo to Akebono.

I've had brembo's on my previous car, and to be honest there's not a "significant" difference between brembo's and akebono's, unless your doing hardcore track racing. So overall, they are pretty similar if your just daily driving your car, if you ask me i like the akebono's better.

that is good info...now it makes sense why they don't brand the brakes anymore and just put "infiniti" on it!

The Akebono are a step above the Brembo brakes found on earlier G35 and 350z models.

For what it is thats a really great price for that kit. The rotors could be two piece for weight savings but the Audi S4 and BMW M3 both come with sliding calipers. I'll also say this much - I've had the good fortune of owning and driving some pretty HI/PO cars and the brakes on the G37S are still some of my favorites in terms of actual feedback through the pedal.
