VDC off and Slip sign

hey, how are you?
Recently, I had an accident and I fixed it (When I had an accident, there was a VDC off and Slip sign on all the time)
However, after 2 or 3 weeks, the VDC off and Slip sign showed up again all of sudden. If I restart my car, they disappear but they come up again all of sudden again. My local mechanic reprogrammed it and this keeps happening.
Should I just go to a dealer? Is this something that they can fix?
Thank you!!!

I would take it back to the body shop and let them deal with it, they got paid to fix the car afterall.

It's possible that you need new brakes. Similar was happening with mine, and the problem went away after changing brake pads and front rotors.

Could also be that your alignment is off or your abs system is acting up... have them checked also...

Hi, this happened to me as well and it's a pretty simple solution.
The reason why this is happening is mainly due to brake wear. As your brake pads get smaller, your car needs more brake fluid to compensate. For some reason, the 'slip' light and 'VDC' light is tied to the brake fluid.
Hence, go get some brake fluid for your ride and you should be fine. You can research which kind our cars will take. You won't need to put in a large amount of fluid. From what I remember, there is a 'Max' line for reference. Just make sure you don't overfill it as I've heard brake fluid does nasty things to car paint!

Hope this helps

Same thing happened to me and all I did was add "brake fluid". That fixed it.
