This might be obvious, but have you rotated the tires?
Put the new ones on the front to see/hear any difference??

UPDATE!

I ended up replacing the front calipers and front rotors. I believe one of the pistons in the front left caliper was faulty and not engaging properly. The rotor was warn unevenly with a good size nick/cut going vertically with pad skipping marks after it. I also did a full rotate and balance on the wheels/tires.
While I was at it, I removed and refilled the power steering fluid reservoir, differential fluid change and transfer case fluid change.

Result, things are much better and back to normal. I still hear a thud thud thud noise from the wheels lightly when turning but I dont think its wheel bearing related. I believe its just the tread of the tires (Continental XtremeContact DWS). I was ready to sell the car, and now I may just hold on a little bit longer.

My mechanic says that a few cars have known issues with the brake rotors - especially the front ones. Toyota Camry, our G37, etc are known to easily warp the surface of the front rotors which causes shuddering or pulsating when you brake light to medium.

As for the tires, I run Continental PureContact DWS in the summer - a fantastic choice.

Boy does the shudder problem hit home. Mine does it pretty bad in the front at 63,000 miles. I will have to check out the rotors here soon when a little more snow is gone...I hope. Sometimes it's so bad, it feels like the front tires are going to jump off and abandon ship.

Have the exact exact exact same problem. Can you please help?

I also just started getting a very noticeable vibration in the front wheels when braking at high speeds. Steering wheel wobble and there is a judder in the pedal. The rotors are 6 months old with good pads (I previously had just the high speed brake judder and replaced the rotors which temporarily solved it). The car feels dangerous to drive. Ive checked alignment, balancing, loose/broken parts, etc. Would a wheel bearing cause this? When I turn my turn my car slowly to the right, I do hear a mild rotational tire noise. I have brand new tires on the rear and the front tires have 50% tread. They have all been balanced with same issue.

Any thoughts?
It's my 10th car. 3 of those 10 had bridgestone and did almost the same problem ; nissan maxima 2005, audi s4 2001 and my G37s coupe 2008 that I have now. I had the original tires size on the 19". Switched the back tires to the front and added 285/35zr19 on the back (19x9) with ContinentalContact2.
Front : Bridgestone REwtv 245/40r19 (19x8.5)
Rear : 285/35zr19 on the back (19x9). It fit without any problem. Still doing the same exact problem as you. Even my rotors and pads are brand new since 1500k ago (stopstech parts) and my disc started shaking after 200-300k) maybe I'm having the same issue with one the akebenos caliper. So please help. Always making inspection everytime I do some maintenance. Everything seems legit. bought new continental sportcontact2 (255/40zr19 for the front) hope i fix the problem. Did an alignement 3000k ago didn't change a thing.

Well I finally solved my problem. After replacing the driver side front caliper and the front rotors and pads, then swapping out wheel bearings, the car runs like it should. Im content...for now.

+1

Brakes are definitely not our cars' strong point. I've owned mine for a little over a year and I've already had the front rotors turned twice in ~25k miles due to shuddering. Any advice about a permanent fix is welcome.

I actually determined several months ago that my front driver side caliper was faulty, so i replaced it with a '12. I think the previous caliper was distributing uneven pressure on the pads due to a bad piston causing the warping of the rotor. So far with that and the new bearing, everything seems pretty good.

How were you able to determine the caliper wasn't working properly? My car has been doing the same thing.

The rotor had several marks indicating the caliper was seizing, the pads were also had uneven wear.
