My camber is way off....
I have a 2013 G37 Sedan and I lowered the vehicle on Tanabe Coilovers about 2 weeks ago. I took it to have it aligned and it's pretty crazy how much my camber is off.
Front left: -1.3 (not too bad) from -1.7
Front right: -2.2 (Yikes) from -2.5
Rear Left: -1.4 (Not too bad) from -1.7
Rear Right: -2.2 (Yikes) from -2.7
The alignment guy said I can't really fix fronts since I don't have camber plates. he did correct the rear a bit. I got an alignment so I can slap on my rims tomorrow. I didn't really expect camber to be this off. Are my tires toast (especially the right side)? Also, something tells me my right side is lower than my left side given the camber degrees... What do you guys think? These are my first coilovers. I have been lowered on springs on past 4 cars.
Here is my car. 3k miles on the odometer (3 months old).

Tomorrow's to do (Volk GTC in gunmetal):

Samething happen to me bro, I lowered mine on Stance GR's and my alightment got way off it happens when lowering it a lot on OEM's should have done it when you have the wheels on not other way around. Mine sits at -4 rear and about -2 front and i have the OEM 19" first gen wheels.. thats the max i was able to set it back alighnt, need cambers now to be able to do more work.
Always best to pony up for the F&R arms & rear toe kit, especially w/ coilovers since you may want to drop lower eventually. Vheaper than tires in the long term and having your alignment in spec is rarely a bad thing
I should've done it with my Volks on? How would that change my alignment? My camber is way off. -4 is insane! I probably shouldn't complain about the rears. lol.
I never really aligned any of my cars since cars that I play with are not really driven massive miles (I drive maybe 5k miles a year). I had a bad experience with after market adjustable camber arm on my older car (arm snapped....). I'm probably just going to replace tires as they get worn.
Is it a true statement that the tech couldn't fix alignment in the front without camber plates? Based on specs, do you think my right is lower than the left? I may have to play with them again... or is it soething that's highly variable.

The main tire slayer is actually toe, not camber. Keep your toe as close to 0 as possible. 1-2 degrees of negative camber is not bad. No it doesn't matter which wheels you had on for the alignment. Yes your passenger side could possible be lower. You can always flip your tires down the road if you think they're showing camber wear (take rear tires off wheels and re-install on opposite rear wheels, same for fronts.)
