I'm ready to do my first real mod to my fairly new G. I've decided on getting front and rear sway bars and am either going to go Eibach or Hotchkis, it seems those are the two most popular choices here but most seem to have Hotchkis.
I can get the Eibachs for 60 dollar cheaper than the Hotchkis, is there any reason why I should go Hotchkis instead of Eibachs?

Also which settings should I use if I want the body roll to be as low as possible but making the car very neutral (don't want too much oversteer but would like to reduce some of the understeer the G comes with). I'm thinking of having the front at maximum stiffness and the rear at medium stiffness?

 

I would go with either Hotchkis or Whiteline. Personally, my too favorite swaybars for this car.

 

I just installed Hotchkis today... awesome upgrade. I considered Hotchkis/Eibach/Whiteline but went with Hotchkis because of the numerous positive reviews, the grease zerks on the bushings/brackets (which I used already), and the integrated lock rings on the bars. For Hotchkis, the fronts are not adjustable and I installed the rears using the middle setting. The car is very neutral now IMO.

Sorry, I wanted to take pics of the installation, but I forgot. Search for Black Betty's Hotchkis DIY thread. He took good step-by-step pictures of his installation. There are also pictures in the included step-by-step instructions. The installation is very straightforward though, you shouldn't have any problems.

 

Hotchkis bars are a bit stiffer than eibach i believe. I went with eibach for the price and full adjustability. Car is now 1 day shy of 2 years old. Haven't had to grease anything yet. Then again, I'm also at only 12K miles.

 

If they're adjustable, you should definitely start with the lightest setting and stiffen them until you like it.
