Exclamation Alignment woes.....

Hey team,

Need a lil insight on a few things. Recently lowered my car to 24 3/4 rider height, and went for an alignment......The rear is a PIA to align! with my TOE in check, I cannot get my camber to any more to the positive then -2.2 (Yes, I have SPC bars & Toe bolts).

Am I missing something, or is the shop missing something? Do i need to invest in the Kinetix toe bars now also? totally stumped on this

Being that low, that's about what to expect, if your toe is in spec you should be able to live w/ that, you'll just need to rotate your tires regularly. If you don't need to be that low just raise it up to the point where your camber is to your liking.

true that ^^, but -2.2 w/ that deep drop is pretty damn good as long as your toe is alright

I am also having trouble with my KWV3 drop. It is just a bit too low all around for my taste and I have them set at the highest (least drop) setting; and I can't get close enough to alignment specification for my comfort -- especially in the back. I chewed through some Nitto INVO's on the rear way too quickly.

I have added adjustable camber links to the back but that didn't cut it - my toe is maxed out. I have a plan (I think*) and parts are on order:

+SPC Front Adjustable Camber Arms
+2.5 inch Swift Springs for the rear to replace the KWV3 Springs (supposed to have same qualities as the 3.5 inch KWV3 springs)
+SPL Rear Mid Links to replace the the OEM mid links

The former should allow me to play with camber in the front (not adjustable with OEM parts) and get the toe and camber where I am comfortable in the back (and adjust the ride height a bit in the back since the spring seat/cup can be adjusted up to three inches).

*Has anyone else done this/am I on the right track? I could not find any discussions on the forum.

OP, I'll check back in and let you know how it goes.

Thanks bro....and I will be selling my SPC front upper control arms soon. I no longer need them due to running 10.5" wheels in the front. Stock arms should put me about -1.7 upfront. It's my rears that is boggling me, and yes, I made the toe holes larger for the SPC bolts

Do you have the rear toe kit or just the camber arms?

You might try asking the spring question over in the Brake/suspension section of the site, might get more help.

WELP, to no avail......still cant get it any more to the positive. Since springs settled, now im sitting at -2.5 rears and -1.8 front. But hey, Toe is dead on! lol, so I am at a loss on what else I can do for the rears

I will be posting up my SPC upper control arms soon, after re-installing my OEM UCA. If my measurements are correct, my stock arms should put me about -1.5 / -1.7.

Chime in on if my assumptions are correct guys.

I'd definitely get the rear toe kit then
Casts about $50 but should really help your issues.

As low as you are w/ the front OEM bars not being adjustable, your camber will be way out of spec, probably in the -3 range I'm guessing, maybe even more.
