adjusting BC racing coils

hey all,

I know this is a brakes/suspension thread/question but there doesnt seem to be a whole lot of activity as opposed to this section, so hoping someone can help me out! I just recently mounted my new 20x11 +20 wheels yesterday, and i cant run the same drop from my old wheels because these are wider and much more aggressive. So obviously i tried racing my coilovers, and it seems to sit fine after i drop it back off the jack, but as soon as i sit and start to drive, it seems that it drops right back to where it was previously and i rub like crazy. I loosened the collars on the strut and raised them significantly higher than before, but i cant seem to get it to stay in that position. I tried searching like crazy but didnt find anything for BC racing adjustment for our cars. I found one for the g35 coupe but it was very brief and didnt help much. Can anyone shoot me a few pointers, or perhaps something im doing wrong? thanks!

Are you talking about the front, back or both? If you're talking about the back you have to raise the collar on the spring first, then preload the springs about 10mm and then adjust your shock length. If it's the front not sure what's going on unless you have stripped out threads on your adjusting sleeve.
