BC Coils

Quick question. Can you lower the rear without taking the bolt out of the strut?? Some people say just turn the strut collar. Others say you gotta take the bolt out. Any info would be good

They way you supposed to do it is remove the bolt, adjust the ride height through spring adjustments, then reset the pre-load by adjusting and rebolting the strut.

whs^^ raise or lower the spring collar nut the amount you want, preload the springs, then raise or lower the shock height the same amount that you adjusted the collar ring nut.
