This is good to know. I'm in NJ and one of the reasons I got the X was for the snow. Perhaps I'll stay away from the sways.
In my opinion, the rear sway swap was 100% a worthy mod...
I'm in Boston, MA and went through 2 horrific winters with this mod and never experienced any issues.
If any mod is to done on the G37x(S), it should be to upgrade the sways...or at least the rear one with a non AWD sway bar.
My honest opinion is that aftermarket swaybars won't impact your winter driving. Not one bit.
If I had an AWD G, then I'd still be putting snow tires on it, like I do my RWD car. And equipped like that, I'd be really looking forward to winter. You can attack the road in an AWD car with snows.
^ Agreed! I installed just the Eibach rear sway bar on my 2012X sedan and have driven just fine in the snow this season. Made it through Storm Jonas without any tailspins/slippage. Also, I drove on A/S tires this winter, so I know if/when I put on dedicated snow tires, the drive will be even better. The bigger rear sway bar made driving in the rain much more comfortable.
That settles it then! Thanks for the input guys. I've got my eye on a FS thread and if I don't hear back I'll just order one through my dealer. Seems like a really affordable no-brainer mod.

Good for you. Aftermarket sways and high-performance summer tires on a high-horsepower AWD car with RWD bias...
When you push that car to the point where Infiniti's AWD programming gets involved, you are going to be grinning from ear to ear. For that matter, every day driving will just be that much better, even when your brian isn't in racecar mode.

Im new to the game with a 2013 g37x so still getting used to it. Im in Bedford, MA.
Welcome!
Replacing or upgrading the sway bars should be the very first mod done to the G37x...the most effective mod that will actually improve the vehicle.
Of course other mods will follow, but remember to research first before jumping into that $$$ pool!
I did this upgrade yesterday. This is the probably the best thing I did to this car. As it's been previously stated, the handling on these cars is laughable. The "S" badge on the back of mine means nothing if an "x" precedes it. Immediately after the install, I noticed that the wobble is gone. I almost felt like I was dreaming! That stupid SUV-like top heavy wobble is completely gone. Unreal. Anyway, I spent $64 on the bar on eBay and $80 to install. Here's a pic of the old sway bar:

Glad to see another good review of the swap! I have my sport RSB in my basement. I'm due for a service in about 1k miles so I'm just going to have them slap it on.
I recently installed a rear sway bar from a 2015 Nismo 370Z on my stock 2009 G37XS sedan. I bought it off Ebay for $74.99 shipped. Great improvement in handling and should have been part of the sport package from the factory. The new bar looks bigger and heavier but it only weighs 8 lbs. with everything that it came with in the picture.
A little poking on the370z.com, I found this handy-dandy table. It should open up the list of vendors we can shop, too. Sway Bar Diameters - Nissan 370Z Forum
