I'm trying to determine if the extra cost to add the Hotchkis sway bars is worth it over just installing the G37s coupe rear bar alone. Basically, it's a $400 vs. $175 question.
Thoughts?

I've been trolling for that answer since before I even bought my G, and I've already got the RWD S-package suspension. The conclusion I've come to, based solely on research in this forum, is that aftermarket sways are a good upgrade, even over the OEM Sport swaybars. Of course, I've not done the mod yet. It's just an interpretation of consensus opinion.
So if you've got a non-Sport Package G37, and are weighing the upgrade choice between OEM Sport sways vs. aftermarket sways... get the aftermarket parts.
Also, you'll likely be wanting to upgrade BOTH sways, not just one. Balance.
Thanks for the responses. I need to specify a bit. I have a g37x. My understanding is that the x and xs sways are the same on the sedan. Thus my interest in adding the g37s coupe rear only.
I have a 10' X sedan, and I swapped the rear sway bar from a S Coupe. I notice a difference in the way it drives, but the difference is minimal - not really worth it imo. If I could go back i would get the hotchkis. I read on this forum that the people who put it on see a huge improvement.

i'd shop around a bit more. $400 for rear only sway bar is way too much. You should be looking 1/2 that much at most. as for the coupe sway bar, someone must be offloading it in favour of aftermarket parts so you should be able to grab it for under $100.
install is a 30 min DIY. can't get much simpler. 2 endlink nuts and 4 bracket nuts. a very worthwhile and economical performance modification that you will actually notice.
