brake cleaner

brake cleaner

I know after removing the stock BBK pads, I am suppose to clean them out.
Would it be problem if the brake fluid go on the caliper?

Brake fluid is not good for any painted surface.. Wipe off immediately.

How did you get brake fluid with just pad removal??

Did you mean brake cleaner and not brake fluid? Are you asking if it's ok to clean the calipers with the brake cleaner? Or did you change your brake fluid and it got on your calipers..but like the above said brake fluid is corrosive and should be wiped off any painted service immediately.

Brake cleaner isn't going to harm anything. People actually use it to clean off all the dirt,grime off the caliper/pins/shims. You wouldn't need to tape it up.
