Lighter Steering with Hotchkis Sways

Has anyone with Hotchkis sways noticed lighter steering after installing them? Im on the stiffest in the front and middle in the back. If you have experienced lighter steering what is the remedy?

I experienced the exact opposite, heavier steering. Somebody else on here also noticed firmer steering. Maybe you got stronger from the install?

By lighter, you mean more instantaneous response or oversteer?

I do actually. The steering is much lighter than what it was but the handling is much better so I am not complaining. Steering is about 80% of stock which for me means lighter than stock but still heavier than my 09 TL SH-AWD. lol

Maybe it has to do with the different setting for the sways?

The car now oversteer like a RWD car. So I have minimize bodyroll, it handle like a charm and no more understeer but the steering is lighter.

I adjusted the setting to the stiffest for both ends and am happy with the handling. But the steering is still a little light but I can deal with it. Like Yeti said its about 80%. Maybe its cuz we both have X models

I'm gonna add a front strut bar soon, maybe that will tighten up the steering a little. I love the way the car handles, especially in turns, just wish it was a little tighter...lol

I installed these not too long ago and don't remember there being any setting for the front. There was 3 settings for the rear...am I missing something here?

Anyway, steering feels great, a lot less body roll - glad I got these on there.

There isn't. There's only one way to install the front for hotchkiss sways. There are 3 different settings for the rear.

No clue what everyone in this thread is talking about "stiff setting" for the front.

You are correct sir. This taken from hotchkiss site. I didn't know the AWD were different from the rwd. Kinda sucks if you ask me. I wonder what the stiffness of the rwd one is vs the AWD one on the stiffest setting.

Anyway, I stand corrected. I keep forgetting there's AWD G's
