Failed Akebono Install By Forum Member
I never knew it would've gone this far.
Anyways, not all techs know what goes on with this upgraded BBK install if they don't know the information on it.
It does suprise me to use company materials for non-company issues -- for him to use the letterhead opened a can of worms.
and to all that know me, I value my time to try to provide USEFUL information to everyone, and hopefully extend the courtesy to take care of everyone here on the boards, never to screw anyone
but thanks for reading this thread while eating my early dinner at the dealership.
I am large and live close enough to you to drive up there. Don't make me fire up the G. I got a couple of ban hammers with your name on them at the end of each arm.
By the way, DO NOT Google search the term "huge fist" to look for images to post with safe search turned off. Especially at work. You have been warned...

. I heard you were a pretty tall and big fella. Is that true?
.
I kept on getting calls at the dealership from ak47... he asked me if the bbk should fit. I told yes we've installed the Akebono's plenty of times and works right onto the AWD cars with the exception of trimming the rear backing plate.

I have to say I have enjoyed this thread since it started. It's nice to see the non-douch bag win for once. Congratualtions on things getting set straight. Sorry you had to go through this crap in order to set things straight though.
I am so sorry to hear you had to even go through this man! I am so glad you did things right though and were able to get the desired results due to how you handled things appropriately on your end!
I have met the OP a few times and he is a great guy, sucks that it seems things like this happen to good people, but I love how effectively he handled it... could have had a lot of different outcomes. I hope it is completely put to bed!

Thanks again guys! Everything worked out... AK47 had to keep the brakes he damaged and still has no idea how to install them even if he can get them repaired.
As for me well I'll have a brand new set of brakes w/ 2 piece rotors coming off the ship early part of next month!
They will look sick with the new wheels... If I can ever get them back!
Ill be making a new work thread real soon...
Edit: Final email from the Owner of Douglas Infiniti
This is priceless and needed to update!
Good Morning Ricardo, and thanks for the follow up. I appreciate what you did on our behalf with Dealer Rater. As for Alan, maybe he now understands what it means to have integrity. That’s the most important attribute a person can have in life and that’s what we try to convey to all of our employees.
Best wishes,
Jon
