I got way more than I bargained for. And by the looks of things, I'm not the only one.

I think that was ak47 posing for some of those photos with his boss. Or likely ex boss.

OP glad you got this resolved. Hopefully douchebags like him will learn a lesson from this.
I kept on getting calls at the dealership from ak47... he asked me if the bbk should fit. I told yes we've installed the Akebono's plenty of times and works right onto the AWD cars with the exception of trimming the rear backing plate.
I never knew it would've gone this far.

Anyways, not all techs know what goes on with this upgraded BBK install if they don't know the information on it.

It does suprise me to use company materials for non-company issues -- for him to use the letterhead opened a can of worms.

and to all that know me, I value my time to try to provide USEFUL information to everyone, and hopefully extend the courtesy to take care of everyone here on the boards, never to screw anyone

but thanks for reading this thread while eating my early dinner at the dealership.

That was satisfying. I'll bet he held out some glimmer of hope that there was something that he could do or say to stop that from happening. There wasn't. Only waited for OP to completely resolve his situation.
Great to hear!

By the way, DO NOT Google search the term "huge fist" to look for images to post with safe search turned off. Especially at work. You have been warned...
. I heard you were a pretty tall and big fella. Is that true? .

Yeah. Well I had a great experience with some of the crew at my stealership. Them former manager who was there gave me the car at invoice pricing and threw the extended warranty on for free. He said I was his last customer and he was going to a audi dealership to become a branch manage. hahah. Got a steal on my car. Also, only time I took my car to the stealership was when a guy on the g35 forums was to work at my local stealership. He was the only person that I let touch my car. After he left I started doing my own oil changes and just got the money from the warranty company. So free oil and filter for me.

I have to say I have enjoyed this thread since it started. It's nice to see the non-douch bag win for once. Congratualtions on things getting set straight. Sorry you had to go through this crap in order to set things straight though.

I am so sorry to hear you had to even go through this man! I am so glad you did things right though and were able to get the desired results due to how you handled things appropriately on your end!

I have met the OP a few times and he is a great guy, sucks that it seems things like this happen to good people, but I love how effectively he handled it... could have had a lot of different outcomes. I hope it is completely put to bed!

Thanks again guys! Everything worked out... AK47 had to keep the brakes he damaged and still has no idea how to install them even if he can get them repaired.

As for me well I'll have a brand new set of brakes w/ 2 piece rotors coming off the ship early part of next month!

They will look sick with the new wheels... If I can ever get them back!

Ill be making a new work thread real soon...

Edit: Final email from the Owner of Douglas Infiniti

This is priceless and needed to update!

Good Morning Ricardo, and thanks for the follow up. I appreciate what you did on our behalf with Dealer Rater. As for Alan, maybe he now understands what it means to have integrity. That’s the most important attribute a person can have in life and that’s what we try to convey to all of our employees.

Best wishes,

Jon
