How do you guys mount stuff in the ashtray? I explored it once but the cover and the ashtray holder is one piece.

 

well from what i can tell in wppjr30's pics...the EDFC component takes up the entire ashtray compartment..where if you wanted to use either the cig lighter outlet for cigs or to plug in radar detector that is not an option. i guess one could get the radar detector hard wired through the rear view mirror

I am asking because I am looking into Tein Flex coilovers and maybe interested in spending the little extra cash on the EDFC

 

the ashtray is the best spot... i personally havent seen this installed in any other area... looks best there IMO... wouldnt try installing anywhere else...
