Aftermarket shocks and struts for the G Coupe.

Just trying to see if anyone has used or has these(Tokico Shocks). I would like to know if they improve suspension and to what degree. Also, what are some other aftermarket shocks and struts available for the G. I do not see many people using shocks and struts, I am going to get them this time around.

Thanks

NO ONE makes aftermarket struts and shocks for the G37, except Tokico.
Dont bother.

Koni should be coming out very soon.

I had the tokico on my dd a while back, sold it cause the ride was way too stiff for a dd. Not sure if the tokico for the G is the same. Anyone used these?

I dunno thats what I am wondering^^^, I just bought and installed some Tein Flex, I like the ride but not sure if the difference was worth $1700...Ive been told for a long time don't buy coils unless your tracking...get great shock/struts and springs...

^ Dooo eeettt! Seriously though, let me know if you do. I'm also very interested in the air rex kit. Mind if I PM you sometime to ask a few questions about it? I've already read through your post about it (and subscribed.)

When Koni finally gets their act together, Ill be switching to Swift springs on Konis.

No need for coil overs.
Besides, do any make real ones for the rear?? Meaning, the spring and spring bucket get replaced by a strut rod, and the coil over spring is actually on the shock??

Where did you see anything that Tokico HP's are "essentially OEM replacements"?

I thought Tokico HP are "performance" shocks as well, not like OEM?

Tokico HP ("blues") are just like OEM. If they offer any performance advantage, it would only be minimal. Their Illumina line are more performance oriented. But not by a lot. They're damping is adjustable. Then they have the D-Spec which are performance struts and shocks.

Only Blues are available for the G.
