Anyone else's sway bar bolt breaking?

I recently lowered my car on BC Coilovers. I was already pretty low on H&R springs but wanted to go lower. And I tink going lower caused my front sway bar bolts to snap off. Anyone else have this problem?

Are you talking about the endlinks? Over lowering stresses them. But if they gave completely broken, you'd know.

Wow. Your poor car. That's a hint and a half that your car is lowered way more than your suspension can handle. With lowering, just because a little is good doesn't mean that a lot is better (contrary to popular opinion on the forum).

they break sometimes, they are only a 23 dollar part from the dealer. I have already broke my originals but the new ones are just fine

I like the whole "slammed" look. I know the parts aren't much to replace but I was wondering if you guys knew if there are aftermarket parts I could get that can handle the car being pretty low?

lou from amplified motorsports has some aftermarket ones that are suppose to be forged and alot stronger then the stock ones but they are a bit on the pricey side.

hmm i may have to look into those. Bc id rather spend money and them not break than have to keep buying them from Infiniti, cost me $246 yesterday to have them replaced.

You could make your own. It's really just some simple hardware. Back when I had my TSX, I found a guy who built his own and shared the DIY with us. Much beefier than the stock ones and IIRC like 10 bucks a piece. I'm sure the post is somewhere easy to dig up. Don't know if mods like making links to other websites but if you search for something like "acura zOne com" then "TSX Endlink DIY" you will probably be able to find it. O, I, whatever...
