Strut Question

I did a search on this forum and Google and can't get a confirmed answer.

Can anybody tell me if the Struts from a 07 will fit an 08?

Bilstein makes a HD strut for 03-07. The same part fits the 350z.
Bilstein also makes PSS10s that on its website fits 03-08 and the 350z.

Bilstein stopped testing fitments for the G sedans after 08. I know that the 08 G35 Sport is essentially a V36, which is the same car as the V36 from 09-11.

Thus if Pss10s will fit the 08 as well as 07 and the 350z, then I would assume HDs for the 07 G35/350z should also fit the 08-11 G35/37 cars as well.....

I would very much appreciate anyone's input before spending the money for the parts.

Sorry can't comment on the matter, but you could call them? H&R uses Bilsten struts, and they have a number you could call to ultimately confirm. I believe the H&R website also have specific fittings with part numbers. Worth a shot? Good luck.

No it won't fit.

EDIT: Sorry, I meant for the coupe. Not certain about the sedan but I don't think it will.

I did call Bilstein and the official party line is if they haven't tested it, they can't say it will fit.

I just find it interesting that on the Bilstein On-line catalog, it lists PSS10 for 2008 G35 sedan (which is a V36). The same part application spans 03-08, which crosses V35 and V36 models as well as the 350Z.

I do believe anything that fits the 2008 G35S should fit a 2009-2011 G37....... What do you guys think?

If you can post a photo of the actual part I can tell you with 100% certainty if it will fit or not.

I think I'm going to order both the KW V3 and the PSS10s from Tirerack and compare the dimensions. I'll ask about the return policy before I do.....
