you should always adjust your setting to somewhere in the middle, drive around for a few days first and break-in the dampener....then slowly start adjusting the stiffness....eventually you'll get the hang of it....whatever gambitx is using doesn't necessarily mean you'll enjoy using....his mods are also completely different than yours (different tires, maybe sway bars, etc), you should always find out for yourself if you don't mind getting dirty....

asking for tuning opinions and settings are usually for amateurs or people who don't know what they're doing....it's a good guideline, but don't live by it...

completely agree... Thanks... thats great advice since this is the first time i would be owning a set of adjustable coilovers... staring in the middle then working myself to a stiffer or softer setting would be the best way to determine my ideal spot...

i am aware of that as i did mention on a previous post, as i quote "each person's tolerance level is different..." so i most def know that his ideal setting might or might not be my ideal spot... just getting a better grasp for the set up...

using a coilover set isnt rocket science... the average joe who has never modified a suspension, can figure out how to work a dampener as he would have to play with it given th opportunity... we are here to help each other out, give and recieve advice as someone will always know more than you since the majority of us here arent pros at this... which is why we are all here on this forum...

you're right! but you'd be surprised as to how many people have no idea what they're doing and end up ruining their cars! there's tonnes of knowledge in this forum and tonnes of members here who are leaning more towards the professional side when it comes to tuning cars....if you can't figure it out, i'm sure someone on the forum can help point you in the right direction...

most def...! some people just have no clue and do ruin a gorgeous and sexy ride... and you dont want to do that on any car, specially not a G... however, even an unattractive car can be transformed into a nicely modded and customized ride... not complicated to do... but some people do spend hundreds or even thousands but simply over do it or just dont have that touch... not to be cocky, as i am as humble and as repectful as they come, but i can def say that i have more knowledge on modding/customazing a car than ur average car enthusiast and, again, not to be cocky but i always got compliments on my previous and current ride's mods as well... but like i said, im not a proffesional and i do try getting as much modding/tuning knowledge whenever possible and try becoming even better at areas where i exceed...
