Popping on Hard Turns

I've been away for awhile, and just got home last week. I put some new wheels on, and have noticed a very loud pop/clunk noise whenever I make a hard turn at 1-5mph. It only happens when I am turning in a parking lot or turning into my drive way. I had the front wheels off today to see if I could see anything, but nothing to be found. I don't know whether it is related to the wheels, steering linkage, or the clutch.
Anyone know what this could be?
I have a 2008 G37s.

I know my maxima had steering stops to keep you from turning the wheel too much. When the plastic stops wore down some they'd pop past the metal stopper. Oddly enough putting in some greese stopped the popping.

Go outside and have someone turn the wheel and listen if its coming from the driver or passenger side or both.

It does it when I turn both ways, but only when moving.

Just got back from the dealer. I had a few things checked out. Apparently they found the nut on the ball joints was loose. The car had started making the noise a lot more during the last few days. Even small turns would cause the noise. Now it only does it on the sharper turns, and is apparently due to the wheel hopping. This is what the paperwork says.
"Verified customer complaint. Found lower ball join nuts loose. Tightened down nuts. Also customer has after market wheels. Front tires are wider than factory specs and wheel is hopping causing other noise."
I guess I will see if some 225s will fit.
Also they took a picture of the seat bubble and are sending it up to see if they can replace. They ordered the door pulls for me and adjusted the window seal to stop the wind noise.

When you look in the wheelwell with tires off, you can't see any rubbing anywhere?

What offset wheels, brand and size tires, are you running?

No. I don't see any signs of rubbing. That was my first thought.
I have Vossen 85s +38/+45 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 Pirelli P-Zero tires.
I am still on my stock springs, and waiting to put my Eibachs on until I get this figured out. The dealership made it seem like such a big deal I had aftermarket wheels on.

I had the car up today and everything looked fine... I asked my wife to check it yesterday while I was driving, but that didn't get me anywhere. She can't drive stick, but I go back to work Thursday and I can have someone drive while I watch there.

The other thing you could try is to put the stocks back on. Outside chance it is actually something wrong with the wheel?
