If you have the non-sports brakes (Akebono) then the dealership will change your brakes out for free under a TSB, however if you have the non-sports brakes you are S.O.L.

Mine squeal going forward too :[ Always below 40mph, with the brake halfway depressed.

Dealership said nothing is wrong with them. I'm going to see if I can get them resurfaced, maybe that'll help?

You're correct. It should not read "(Akebono)". I think I was editing the entire statement and forgot to go back and change that. Thx.

I believe he means you're SOL if you have the sport brakes. The only TSB out there I know of applies to the non-sport models. Hope that helps.

'09 G37S, 9K, My brakes started a squeal backing up; also had brake "shudder" during mod-hvy braking down a mtn; dealer @ 1st, did a light rotor turn to remove uneveness in rotors; that helped the brake shudder; then squeal started, so they R rpl rotors & pads! There is a TSB for certain brake systems for brake "judder".
Great dealership!
