Anyone make any sway bars for the vert? Should it matter?

[quote=Philip8969;2974232]The stillen rear sway bar was $169 and the circuit sports strut tower brace was $150. I did the install myself so no charge for labor!

which bushings did you get for the sway bar? and would you recommend the strut tower brace? thanks

The stillen bar uses the stock rwd sway bar bushings. Nissan part # is 54613-JK01A. If your g is awd you will need to get the rwd bushings. I made a thread about this if you need more info.

I would highly recommend the circuit sports strut tower brace. It fits perfectly with no clearance issues and looks great. Also, the install couldn't be any easier.

The vert, sedan, and coupe all use the same sway bars and strut tower brace. Unless you have awd, in which case your front sway bar is different.

Finally, you DO NOT need an alignment after installing sway bars or a strut tower brace.

I totally agree with Philip. I didn't even have plates for my S sedan when I replaced OE with Stillen's. Both front & rear. Much better handling with no loss in comfort. Well worth the $! I live in a hilly area with lots of twisty roads and this upgrade alone made a huge difference.

No problem sportsdude512. Hopefully by the time you get it someone will make a front sway for the awd g! Wouldn't count on it tho, lol.

I see you have a S. your compromise in comfort will not be that noticeable since the Stillen sways are not that much stiffer than the S, compared to a non S. My question is the comfort loss between a non S to sways.

Upgraded to a S rear sway bar on my AWD, which originally had a tiny rear sway bar. Did not notice any difference in ride comfort

does anyone know how much stiffer the S swaybars are then the non S bars? also, does the S bars from the coupe work on a sedan?

is it a huge difference in stiffness from S and non S? i'm not going to do any auto-x or anything like that, so if I can get a little better handling without sacraficing a lot of ride comfort, I could get the S bars instead of the Stillen or Hotchkis, etc...

there are a lot of reviews on sway bars from i think every brand that makes them for our cars, and i dont think that anyone felt the sway bar taking away from ride comfort.. just search them though

I have a factory RWD rear sway installed on my AWD Coupe. The change in ride quality is just very slightly so my guess is that it shouldn't bother anyone who looks for better handling.
