not sure if anyone brought this up yet, but maintenance cost may be a factor too when deciding between cross-drilled and standard rotors. I had BBK on another vehicle and could not find anyone that would turn a cross drilled or slotted rotor. Eventually went back to standard so that I would not have to replace the rotors as often.

Any competent brake lathe operator can turn drilled and/or slotted rotors. They just take a little patience and a better understanding of metal cutting. Of course, there aren't that many of them around, so choose wisely!
